Doctor Who: Summary: An Unearthly Child
Schoolteachers Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright are puzzled by their student Susan Foreman, who seems brilliant but has odd gaps in her knowledge. They follow her home to a junkyard at 76 Totter’s Lane, where they meet her mysterious grandfather, “the Doctor”. Forcing their way into what looks like a police box, they discover it’s actually the TARDIS, bigger on the inside, and the Doctor whisks them away rather than risk them revealing his secrets.
